Royal Dornoch Golf Club
15 miles from the hotel, this world renowned Championship course has, over the years, hosted the Northern Open, the Scottish Ladies and the Scottish Professional Championships.
The Royal Dornoch Championship Golf Course has an open look, each hole being separate from the other views of the sea, but there are no long walks from green to tee. The Course can be enjoyed by the average player but offers repeated and fresh challenge to the expert.
The Struie Course, on which some new holes are being developed to give it additional length, has its own character. Its current shorter length is well suited to being a family holiday course, but small greens challenge the lower handicap golfer to make a good score.
