Castle and Gardens of Mey – The Queen Mothers lasting legacy to the country. 1 ½ drive north to Caithness you can visit the most northerly inhabited castle on the British mainland. The Queen Mother acquired the castle 1952 and renovated, restored it and created the beautiful gardens you see today and for almost half a century she spent many happy summers here. Visit Scotland has awarded the Castle with 5 stars of excellence which included the gardens, animal centre, gift shop and tea room.
Falconry Display -Dunrobin Castle also host a wonderful display of their birds of prey including falcons, eagles, hawks and owls.
